Today, The Platinum Mask channel would like to introduce Lapinkky for a conversation.

Hey! Please explain to the audience what you’re promoting.

Hey! My name is Pinkky, I have a Youtube Podcast Show that highlights Entrepreneurs who are making waves in their industry, and give them a platform to tell their stories.

What was the biggest obstacle in your journey and how did you overcome it?

My biggest obstacle would have to be maintaining life in addition to becoming an entrepreneur, life isn’t easy as it is and we were not all brought into it with the knowledge to be financially free. I wouldn’t say I have overcome that obstacle just yet but I have learned how to manage it very well. I’ve learned so much from many sources on how to be an entrepreneur and be successful I just want to help others as well.

What separates you from similar artist in the Dallas-Fort Worth area?

I believe I am different from others because I genuinely love art and creating art in anyway. Video expression is one of the many art forms that I use. I create from the heart with no selfish intentions. Creativity is very scarce in DFW.

Is there anything you wished you would have known earlier in your journey?

I wish I would’ve known in the beginning that you don’t have to try to always impress everyone, because society lives on a different standard than what is real. Just be yourself and always do what you say you will. Consistency is definitely important.

Do you have any favorite spots in the Dallas-Fort Worth area?

My favorite spots in DFW don’t really have names, the spots that you accidentally stumble upon are the ones that make the most impact. My grandma’s house. The hood spots. Wing World off of Martin Luther King Jr is a good and quick wing spot if you’re hungry! Tell em Pinkky sent you!

Were there any major challenges due to the covid-19 pandemic? How did you overcome them?

Covid 19 did slow down a lot of the normal interviews and meet ups that I would usually do, but it allowed for more exploration and traveling believe it or not. I overcame the social distancing by doing video interviews with some people and emails. Social media grew a lot.

What was your upbringing like and did you discover your passion early on?

I definitely believe I discovered my passion early on in life I have always been a creator. my sisters and I would shoot “music videos” (us dancing and singing to songs by other popular artists at the time) and ”fashion shows” (us dressing up in our grandma’s fancy clothes and walking down a runway). My parents always encouraged our creative ideas but mostly they wanted us to work and learn how to climb the corporate ladders of America so there was always a disconnect when it came to that. Back then art wasn’t seen as a career just a hobby so it took a while to navigate the field and how to be financially successful.

Do you have a mentor and can you remember any key advice they have given you?

Miss Megann has been one of my more recent mentors, she has truly led by example. Showing me the ropes of this entrepreneur life and always being there for me to answer any of my questions. Key advice she has given me is to always get your money. Not in a greedy or selfless way, but to understand your worth and don’t take anything less. She showed me how to be a woman in this industry and I won’t ever forget her for it.

Were your friends and family supportive of your mission?

Everyone in my life has been supportive what I do because they all know how much it means to me.
