Today, The Platinum Mask channel would like to introduce Jason Rosales Sanchez for a conversation.
Hey! Please explain to the audience what you’re promoting.
My business; I am a Real Estate Agent in Dallas, TX who specializes in Residential Real Estate with an emphasis on helping out First Time Home Buyers.
What was the biggest obstacle in your journey and how did you overcome it?
Learning how to navigate my new career while also dealing with my own personal, financial, and familial struggles. Those couple of years were some of the toughest I ever had to endure, I just remember everyday being a different struggle. If it wasn’t dealing with my unfit living conditions, it was being in the middle of my families problems, and if not that it was trying to make sure I had enough money to provide for myself. Every day just felt like I was doing my best to simply survive, it was incredibly stressful and aggravating; plenty of times I just wondered why I had to go through all this, but somehow I managed to envision a different, more prosperous future. I suppose you can say it was my mindset that helped me overcome these issues, but equally as important was my girlfriend Anis. Throughout this time she was the only one I could really rely on to always be there for me and to bring some sort of light into my world. Without her support I don’t think I would have been able to overcome this time of my life as quickly as I did and for that I owe her the world.
What separates you from similar businesses in the Dallas-Fort Worth area?
I’d say it’s my personality and the way I view what I do. I don’t see every client as just a client, I see them for who they really are as people and for what this really means to them because at the end of the day it’s much more than just a transaction, for many people this is the start of building a family, a new life or a new beginning. I truly care for my clients and getting to be a part of such a special moment in their lives is one of the most gratifying feelings one can feel.
Do you have any favorite spots in the Dallas-Fort Worth area?
For sure, in terms of neighborhoods East Dallas is my favorite; you got so many sub areas close by like Old East Dallas, Lower Greenville, Lakewood and White Rock. If we’re talking restaurants I love Monarch Restaurant for a fancy dinner, Partenope Ristorante or North Italia for a casual lunch or dinner and Garden Cafe for brunch/breakfast. I will say though my absolute favorite is a taco truck in Far South Dallas that my family calls “El Yonque” because it’s surrounded by a bunch of scrap yards, they have the best tacos in all of Dallas.
What was your upbringing like and did you discover your passion early on?
My upbringing consisted of a lot of up and downs mainly due to problems my parents faced with their marriage and their finances. There were times when my dad was in the home and there were times when he wasn’t. They always tried to make it work, but it was always obvious to me and my siblings that they just weren’t good together. All in all being the youngest child in a disfuncional home made me grow up earlier. I used to resent that, but now I appreciate it because it made me strengthen my mental fortitude.
