What Will Rise in 2023?

Delta Airlines expects earnings to roughly double in 2023 and for travel demand to remain “robust”. Are there any industries or types of businesses that you think will really skyrocket in 2023?

Businesses that simplify and improve the convenience of customers’ lives will experience significant growth. As time becomes increasingly valuable, consumers seek out ways to save it and enhance their experiences. Industries such as travel and hospitality, which focus on creating memorable experiences, will also experience growth in demand.

Housing has grown with the need for people moving and first needing a place to live in whatever new job they have in the area. Especially in Atlanta and other major citites many re moving here and moving into high end places in town. there also i a lot of real estate thats linked to housing and small businesses buying spaces as well for studios, offices, etc.

In 2023, I definitely see my favorite industry of all time, the beauty industry skyrocketing. This type of industry is forever growing which makes me so ecstatic to be apart of it!

Artificial Intelligence will skyrocket and become the largest growth driver financially and technologically in the years to come. It is going to be more impactful then the “.com” boom and will change the workplace dramatically.

There is an emerging market for ‘travel comfort’ businesses. Travelers, especially first time travelers / solo travelers, are looking for ways to carry the comforts of home with them as they explore new places. Products like packing organizers and trip planners, or services like au-pairs and travel concierges are going to be the stars of 2023 and beyond.

Yes, Health and Nutrition Coaching is an industry that I think will really skyrocket in 2023. So many more people are prioritizing their health and wellbeing, with the understanding that when we’re healthy we’re able to show up fully in our lives, relationships, careers and for ourselves. Now more than ever the cost of health insurance is enough to motivate anyone to focus on their health and doing so by nourishing the body with seasonal and locally grown foods is the most economic and efficient way. When we’re in alignment with nature and it’s seasons, we are home. A coach is a great accountability buddy and your biggest cheerleader that can empower you to tap into your own healing powers. I help my clients make sense of all the nutrition information and misinformation, stop wasting money on supplements and diets that don’t work and finally start seeing results by helping them reclaim their own healing power by nourishing the deepest parts of themselves and start living their best life now.

Yes, of course. As the founder of Host & Keep, a realtor, a rental manager and with my hospitality background I can say that I see travel and tourism booming. These airline statistics don’t surprise me at all. Covid really affected travel and people are certainly catching up now that they can. Post Covid, at Host & Keep, we have seen some major travel trend changes. We are seeing that travelers now bring their whole family, pets and are looking for larger spaces, green spaces and a kitchen. We get a ton of questions related to this. The kitchen feature is very limited when it comes to hotels and what they can offer in a basic room, making vacation rentals more and more popular. Secondly, we are seeing travel is being planned 2 weeks out on average, where pre-covid it was up to 3 months ahead. This is likely caused by uncertainty in the traveler as a result of Covid. We are also seeing that travelers really care about a workspace, longer stays and staying somewhere that feels authentic and unique. This is why we pay close attention to design for the properties under our management. We offer in house design for this reason. You must stand out. We are working with more and more investors looking to purchase vacation rental homes and set them up for short term rental because the returns far exceed those of long term rental. That is essentially what we do at Host & Keep and why we have been experiencing a growth boom. Add to that proper communication, organization, strong revenue management and booking channel distribution and I can see how investors feel supported. Travel is coming back in a huge way and we love capitalizing on it for our clients.

I believe the Health and Wellness industry will continue to grow exponentially in 2023 and beyond, the same way the supplemental industry has continued to skyrocket. As the consumer becomes more informed and involved in their personal health journey, they will continue to pursue preventative measures through natural, holistic and spiritual methods (i.e. herbal supplements, functional teas, yoga, reiki healing, acupuncture, exercise etc.) After much research and for the above stated reasons, I have decided to niche down my tea company offerings to provide mostly functional wellness teas that are created and blended to address chronic illnesses that can either be prevented, reversed or managed without a massive amount of pharmaceutical drugs, thereby avoiding side effects. As more of us Americans start to pay attention to our mind, body and spirit we can extend and enhance the quality of life and be more vibrant. There will always be a huge market for the Health & Wellness industry and I’m so grateful that my company gets to be part of the solution.

Along with these predictions for travel to remain robust, I think industries that are positively going to see strong results are all of the outdoor adventure businesses. As awareness and interest in recreation continues to skyrocket as a result of COVID, the eagerness for the outdoors continues to spread. Along with it, is a responsibility to educate and inform people on how to interact with the outdoors. Companies like REI continue to be trailblazers, so to speak, in their reinforcement of ethical, sustainable and practical uses of outdoor recreation.

I believe that the wedding industry will continue to skyrocket in 2023 and possibly even into the following year or two. So many couples had to postpone their big day during the height of the pandemic in 2020, and I feel like it has been this endless game of catch-up for the couples who chose to wait to host a bigger event with their family and friends. I know of several who had to push their wedding off to 2023/2024 simply because their venue or a specific vendor didn’t have the availability until then. I encourage anyone who is planning their 2023 or 2024 wedding to book their vendors as soon as possible, because many photographers, videographers, DJs, caterers, etc. are all being booked several months in advance.

I believe that the Marketing business is about to boom. The economical changes are creating a demand for Marketing now more than ever.

As we look towards the future, it’s important to consider the trends that will shape our world in the coming years. One thing is for sure, technology will continue to play a huge role in driving change and innovation across all industries. But what other areas should we be keeping an eye on? If you’re a business owner or entrepreneur, you’ll want to pay attention to the growth of technology-related industries, renewable energy and e-commerce. These areas have been on the rise for some time now and are showing no signs of slowing down. Let’s start with technology. With the advancements in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and the Internet of Things (IoT), it’s no surprise that technology-related industries are booming. The smart city market, for example, is expected to reach $158 billion by 2022. And it’s not just the tech industry that is benefitting from these advancements, other industries are incorporating technology to improve and streamline their operations. But technology isn’t the only thing driving change in the business world. The growing concern for the environment and the shift towards sustainable living is also playing a big role. The renewable energy market is expected to reach $422 billion by 2022, driven by the decreasing costs of solar panels and the increasing demand for clean energy. And let’s not forget e-commerce. Online shopping has made it easier for consumers to access the products they want, when they want them. As a result, the e-commerce market is expected to reach $4.9 trillion by 2021. With this growth, we can expect to see more and more businesses shifting their focus to the digital realm. So, what does all of this mean for you? If you’re a business owner or entrepreneur, you’ll want to pay attention to these trends and consider how they might impact your own business. For example, if you’re in the retail industry, you’ll want to consider how to adapt to the shift towards e-commerce. And if you’re in the energy industry, you’ll want to consider how to capitalize on the growth in renewable energy. And if you’re a consumer, you can expect to have access to a wider range of products and services, and will be able to make more informed decisions about the products you buy and the companies you support. Additionally, the shift towards renewable energy will help to mitigate the effects of climate change and protect the planet for future generations. In short, the growth of technology-related industries, renewable energy and e-commerce will continue to shape our world in the coming years. As a business owner or consumer, it’s important to stay informed and adapt to the changes that are happening around us. The future is exciting, let’s embrace it.
